The Guildwood Bluffs, located in Scarborough, Ontario, is home to a fascinating collection of megaliths – ancient stones arranged in various formations. These formations, known as the Guildwood Stones, were created by artist and sculptor, Spencer Clark, who began collecting stones in the 1930s and eventually used them to create over 80 different sculptures.
Walking along the shore of the bluffs, visitors will see stunning pieces such as a totem pole made from a single stone, a massive fireplace made from boulders brought in from nearby Lake Ontario, and an impressive sundial made from several different stones arranged in a circle.
